The Bar Academy
The Bar Academy
Jamie Stephenson, World Champion Bartender and Rémy Martin Style Master 2007, who is well known in the industry for his drink making skills and passion for the craft is the co-founder and Principal Trainer of The Bar Academy.
Starting The Bar Academy was a natural step for Jamie to take after 12 years of bar tending and opening 11 bars, this venture is allowing him to put some of his expertise and learning back into the business. Jamie aims to instill his need for the perfect delivery into all his students.
The Bar Academy offers a variety of personally designed courses and established bar industry courses from the likes of the BII and WSET. Also on offer bespoke training solutions on-site, at venues around the UK, and beyond.
The Bar Academy aims to produce knowledgeable bartenders who will be willing and able to focus on making good drinks whilst giving good service and being consistent. These are just some of the areas that are all too often lacking in many bars and pubs today.
The introduction of cocktails into venues has been a contentious issue but with The Bar Academy courses we will break down the mystery and show you how to do this with ease and as little or as much investments that you want to put in.
Mission Statement
The Bar Academy operate as a training school and consultancy facility to new and existing bar businesses and individuals. We train all students in the skills and theories of bar tending to ensure that they posses the knowledge and confidence required to work behind a bar.
